I truly appreciate the time I have to paint, with inspirations from the flowers in my garden to cool ocean breezes on a summer beach. My paintings are inspired mostly by my own photographs with the composition changed or elements from my imagination added for interest. Each fine art print, also known as a giclee, is a high quality reproduction of my art done in a professional lab, in the USA, with Epsom Ultrachrome professional archival inks on archival Somerset Velvet paper.

Art is part of who I am, it’s always been there and always will be. I guess you can say it’s in my soul, trying to make itself known in every part of my life, from my present career in marketing to my stay at home mom days (where every time I picked up a paintbrush it somehow turned into an art lesson for the kids!) to my teen and earliest childhood memories. The smell of turpentine and art supplies will never fail to bring me back to a lovely place in time, and the thought of creating something beautiful has long been my refuge.

It’s truly an honor to create an acrylic or watercolor piece for you, knowing you may have chosen it for a loved one, a house gift, or just because it touched your heart in some way. I pour love into every painting and I’m truly grateful to God for my blessings. In fact, I am known to add a bible verse to my canvas before I start painting on it, and if that’s the case you will see it in the description of the painting or print.
